Hardware sources Trendler, TCI merge

CHICAGO — Hardware and furniture components manufacturer Trendler merged last week with parts importer TCI & Associates, and TCI founder and president Stefan Gfesser has joined Trendler as director of business development.
Gfesser was Trendler's executive vice president until 1998, when he formed TCI to import parts Trendler didn't offer. He has an extensive background in sales and marketing in the residential and commercial furniture industries.
TCI's imported product will complement Trendler's strengths in plastic injection molding, metal and tube fabrication, powder coating and complex assemblies, said Trendler President Andreas Gfesser.
In addition, Trendler has promoted Stephen Gignac has been promoted from vice president of sales to vice president of sales and marketing.
