Homestead House centralizes management

BROOMFIELD , Colo. — BROOMFIELD , Colo. — Archie Hall has been named president of Homestead House as the Top 100 upscale furniture store chain centralizes management.
Mark Smith, former vice president of the Touchstone retail division, was named vice president and chief operating officer, and Rob Erichson, former general manager of the Touchstone Design Studio & Furniture store in Fort Collins, Colo., was named vice president and general manager of all stores.
Highland House previously had separate chief executive officers for its California and Rocky Mountain regions. All officers in both regions now report to Hall, previously CEO of the California region. Rick Grill, who had led the Rocky Mountain region, has left.
Smith will oversee all warehouse and delivery operations in Westminster, Colo., Anaheim, Calif., Albuquerque, N.M., and El Paso, Texas. Erichson now oversees all 13 stores in the chain.
David Smith remains Homestead House/Touchstone chairman, and Charles Dahlman remains Homestead House/Touchstone executive vice president.
Earlier this year, Homestead House converted its store in Fort Collins to Touchstone, further emphasizing the brand name it has been developing. Beth Smith has been hired as the store's manager.
In early August, Homestead House closed its Northridge, Calif., store.
