France joins Good Cos.

CARSON , Calif. — CARSON , Calif. — Michael France has joined Good Cos. as director of sales for the eastern United States, a new post for the case goods and home entertainment manufacturer and importer.
He has more than 30 years of furniture industry sales management experience, most recently as vice president of sales for Michels Co./Pilliod. He also worked for 17 years at Bassett.
At Good Cos., France will be responsible for all U.S. sales east of the Rocky Mountains, plus all international sales outside Mexico. He will establish the company's first Eastern regional sales office in High Point.
"I believe Michael will firmly establish Good Cos. as a strong supplier of promotional to midpriced bedroom sets throughout the eastern United States," said David Preuss, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
France's strong product knowledge should help the company provide product more attuned to customers in the eastern United States, he said.
