Bakst tapped as outstanding entrepreneur

PARSIPPANY , N.J. — Ira Bakst, executive vice president and co-founder of Storis, a software supplier for the furniture and other industries, was a finalist in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program for 2001.

Bakst was nominated in one of 47 regional programs sponsored by Ernst & Young.

Nominees must be in top management, and participating in and contributing to the success of a company at least two years old.

Entrepreneurs are evaluated on vision, leadership and determination.
