Spotlight will fall on Italian trends

High Point — Summer Showtime 2002 will feature a first-ever trend presentation created by the organizers of Lineapelle, a semiannual trade show in Bologna, Italy.
An 800-square-foot booth in the temporary space at Suites at Market Square will highlight new trends for the upholstery sector from 20 of Italy's most important tanneries and manufacturers of synthetics.
Italian leather production for upholstered furniture is equal to 50 million square meters per year for a value of $1.85 billion, 85% of which is exported.
