King Koil's Sherman adds Chicago

CHICAGO — CHICAGO — Bedding veteran Jeffrey Sherman, a King Koil licensee, is expanding his sales territory to include the key Chicago market.
Larry McKay, president and chief executive officer of King Koil's national organization, said Sherman, who heads The Bedding Group, is well positioned to boost volume in Chicago.
"Jeff's team of experienced professionals, including Greg Sammons and Roland Pulley, has the ability to grow our business significantly in this key trading area," McKay said.
Chicago is the hub for a sales territory that includes Milwaukee and Madison, Wis., Rockford, Rock Island, Springfield and Decatur, Ill., and Des Moines, Iowa. The Bedding Group is based in Rock Island, Ill. Sherman has been a part of King Koil since his purchase of the Minnesota license in 1999.
King Koil has 15 U.S. plants, and has posted solid sales gains under a new management team headed by McKay, who joined the company last year.
