HIGH POINT — Scott Smith has been named vice president of sales at Drexel Heritage. The appointment completes the management reorganization at the full-line, high-end manufacturer that began in April.
Smith, who reports to Lenwood Rich, executive vice president of sales and marketing, will oversee the sales force and is responsible for national sales.
Most recently, Smith was vice president of sales for contract furniture maker Davis Furniture Inds. Previously, the 10-year industry veteran held sales, marketing and merchandising positions at Lexington Home Brands.
"We are very pleased to have Scott directing our sales efforts as we reposition our company," Rich said. "He's a proven performer who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Both Drexel Heritage stores and multi-line retailers will benefit under his leadership."
