HIGH POINT — Jeffco Furniture, a producer of high-end bedroom, dining room and living room furniture, is set to open a 21,000-square-foot showroom next month in the Hamilton-Wrenn district here.
The four-story, palazzo-style showroom at 425 N. Hamilton St. will have a gated entrance designed to make buyers feel as if they're entering the elegant residence of a friend, said Paula Gaynor, vice president and co-owner of Jeffco.
"Jeffco was always about a total lifestyle … and we needed to communicate that," she said. "We decided this was the best way."
The showroom is set up as a townhouse and has luxurious design elements such as aged travertine floors and marble bathrooms. The top floor features a dining room and a lounge that will be outfitted with computer data ports.
Gaynor said that construction is on schedule and the showroom will be ready for the October's International Home Furnishings Market. The facility replaces Jeffco's former showroom at 422 N. Hamilton.
