Restoration taps Salamone

CORTE MADERA, Calif — CORTE MADERA, Calif — Home goods retailer Restoration Hardware has named former Gap executive Lisa Salamone as executive vice president and general merchandise manager.
She left the Gap in March 2001 after 16 years as a merchandising executive. Her responsibilities at Restoration will include merchandising, product design and development, inventory planning and visual merchandising.
"We believe that her outstanding merchandising track record, and her experience building organizations and developing businesses, will be a tremendous asset to our company," said Gary Friedman, Restoration's president and chief executive officer.
