Furniture First board to develop three-year plan

Directors meeting in Atlanta this week

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, December 15, 2008

ATLANTA — Furniture First's board of directors will meet here this week to focus on services offered by the home furnishings and mattress buying group, and how the organization can grow its opportunities with its suppliers while improving the profitability of its members.

The two-day meeting will be used to develop goals, identify obstacles, and create solutions to achieve objectives. According to a news release, the result will be a plan that will guide the member-owned group for the next three years and beyond.

Furniture First represents independent home furnishings retailers from medium-low to medium-high price point products across the United States. For more information, contact President Bill Hartman at (800) 411-3477, ext. 123, or at BHartman@Furniture.First.com.
