New marketing agency offers support for in-house promotions

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Leigh Huffman, who has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and communications, has opened Basicleigh Marketing here to serve companies in a variety of industries, including furniture.
For the past five years, Huffman worked in sales and as director of marketing at Tribuzio-Hilliard Studio, a photo studio with a number of furniture industry clients.
She said her new agency will offer external support for a company's in-house promotional efforts.
“Many companies have been forced to reduce staff, and cuts from marketing departments are common,” she said. “Maintaining a marketing plan is vital, even if it means paring back to the basics. We develop ways to retain and increase business during a tough economy, using methods that are creative, comprehensive and cost-effective.”
