ENGLEWOOD, Colo — ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Andrew Zuppa, who had been serving as corporate general manager and marketing director at Top 100 retailer American Furniture Warehouse, has left the company to pursue other interests.
Zuppa, who has worked in the home furnishings industry for more than 17 years, had been involved in many of AFW's online initiatives, including the 2004 launch of the company's e-commerce site, which currently registers more than 500,000 hits a month and generates $4 million in annual revenues.
In 2007, Zuppa and Jake Jabs, AFW's president and CEO, launched Discount Furniture Network, an online network of retailers, suppliers and transportation companies that provides a one-stop shopping solution for online furniture buyers.
Moving forward, Jabs will assume Zuppa's responsibilities as AFW's general manager.
