Herscovitz leaves Accentage
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 4, 2009
CINCINNATI — Industry veteran Eduardo Herscovitz has left accent dining specialist Accentage Furniture and is pursuing other opportunities.
Herscovitz was hired by Accentage in 2008 as vice president of sales and operations. Earlier, he was director of international operations and logistics for case goods importer American Dream Rooms and president of International Furniture. He also has worked for Brazil Furniture Group.
Herscovitz indicated the move stemmed from a budget cutback spurred in part by rising metal costs.
Herscovitz, who has been in the furniture industry for 24 years, said he plans to stay in the industry and work in areas such as consulting, sourcing, sales and logistics.
