TBG holding Buy Fair before Tupelo show

BELLS, Tenn. — The Buying Giant, a home furnishings and bedding buying group, is holding a pre-Tupelo Furniture Market Buy Fair for members on Thursday, Jan. 22.
The group is currently receiving commitments from suppliers to exhibit TBG specials in The Buying Giant's permanent showroom at the market, said Gary Edwards, executive director.
This will be the second market that TBG has exhibited in a permanent Tupelo showroom for members and other stores interested in joining the buying group. It will show in Tupelo Building 5, space 5030.
TBG began with five stores in 1987 as The Tennessee Buying Group. The name was changed last year to The Buying Giant to better represent the group's 70 storefronts in eight states.
A membership meeting will be held prior to the Tupelo Buy Fair to elect new officers, review programs and develop goals.
Members also will shop in groups at select key supplier showrooms on Friday, Jan. 23.
The Tupelo Market runs Saturday, Jan. 24 to Wednesday, Jan. 28
