EasyChair Software names Hooverson as president

MINNEAPOLIS — Paul Hooverson, head programmer at EasyChair Software, has been named president of the company, which provides furniture retailers with inventory, accounting and management software.
He succeeds John Bjorklund, who remains chief executive officer.
Hooverson and Bjorklund founded the company in 1986, and in 1990 introduced what EasyChair describes as full-function software designed specifically for furniture retailers.
Hooverson will focus on continuing to expand the links between Windows-based workstations and high-performance Linux servers.
