LENOIR, N.C. — Tom Broyhill, grandson of company founder T.H. Broyhill, has retired as vice president of international and contract sales Broyhill Home Furnishings after 36 years at the manufacturer and importer.
Broyhill, who worked in sales and advertising management positions, also visited Broyhill dealers around the world, assisting with Broyhill Showcase Gallery openings, ribbon cuttings, promotions and centennial celebrations.
“My grandfather and his brother, J.E. Broyhill, together laid the foundation of Broyhill Furniture Inds. with the service and quality that prevails in the company today,” Tom Broyhill said in a press release. “I am proud to have been able to support the Broyhill legacy and the fine retailers who make our products available to consumers.”
Broyhill President Jeff Cook added, “Tom has been a terrific asset and a great advocate for our company over the years and on behalf of our entire team, I wish him a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement.”
