LAS VEGAS — Furniture Brands International companies Thomasville, Drexel Heritage, Henredon and Maitland-Smith have committed to showing at the Las Vegas Market next month, adding to the show's offerings at upper-medium and high-end price points.
They will share a 22,000-square-foot showroom on the 12th floor of the World Market Center's Building C. Furniture Brands officials said the “space and floor plan will be managed to create a compelling, individual presentation for each brand.”
FBI brands Broyhill and Lane have shown in Las Vegas since 2005. Company officials said in a press release that the addition of the four other brands will help broaden the reach and exposure of their products.
“It's an opportunity to introduce more retailers to our brand and especially grow our gallery and authorized dealer base,” said Thomasville President Ed Teplitz.
“Many of our dealers use Las Vegas as their primary market source. It's important that we're there,” said Lenwood Rich, president of Drexel Heritage, which will offer the new Shelter & Shore collection as well as in-line groups, including Belle Maison, Urban Dwellings and Postobello Home.
Dan Bradley, president of FBN Designer Brands, the division that includes Henredon and Maitland-Smith as well as Hickory Chair, Pearson and Laneventure, noted the growing designer presence in Las Vegas. He said Henredon will show its recently launched Marseille and Arabesque collections and custom upholstery, while Maitland-Smith's assortment will focus on lamps and accessories.
Bob Maricich, president and CEO of the World Market Center, said WMC officials are “delighted” to welcome the new Furniture Brands companies to the facility.
The winter market will run Feb. 9-13.
