NEW YORK — Graham Smith has joined Shalom Bros. in a new post with responsibilities for expanding the company's reach into more moderate price points, according to Nader Shalom, a company principal.
Shalom has been a specialist in high-end, hand-knotted rugs.
“Smith will be in charge of a new division of Shalom Bros., which will entail new contract business in the lower price point category directed to mass merchants and retailers,” said Shalom. “We are very pleased to have Smith with us as his many years of experience in our industry make him well qualified to run our new division.”'
Smith has worked for the past nine years for home furnishings source Classic Concepts, where he was national accounts manager and a consultant. He previously held posts with rug importers Pande Cameron and Fritz & Larue. He also heads Parlam LLC, a consulting firm.
