LENOIR, N.C. —
Broyhill has told its sales representatives that the company is reorganizing their duties, with all reps to be responsible for selling both case goods and upholstery.
Some reps already had sold both lines, but others had specialized in only case goods or only upholstery.
Mark Stevens, vice president of sales for Broyhill, said the size of the sales force has been reduced, but did not disclose by how many reps. He said the company will still have more than 50 sales reps.
Stevens said that Lane, a sister company to Broyhill under parent Furniture Brands International, already has a similar structure in place for reps. He said the change at Broyhill will give each customer a single point of contact with the company.
