LUBBOCK, Texas — Clifton Davidson, a sales representative for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2004, has died. He was 83.
Davidson, who served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific theater and attained the rank of sergeant major, started his furniture career with the Baumritter Corp. From 1970 to 2004, he was a sales rep in west Texas and New Mexico, working for Maddox Furniture and Largo International.
He is survived by his wife, a sister, four sons, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Assn. or the American Cancer Society.
