A-America promotes two

SEATTLE — Crystal Nguyen has been promoted to vice president of merchandising at solid wood casual dining and bedroom producer A-America.

Nguyen had been vice president of product development and marketing. She reports to CEO John Rittenoure.

A-America also has promoted Christian Rohrbach to director of overseas operations, reporting to Nguyen. He was most recently product manager, having joined the company five years ago as overseas quality assurance manager. Rohrbach will be based in Vietnam and will be in charge of quality assurance and production.

In addition, Jeff Smola is no longer with the A-America and the company has restructured his former responsibilities, which will be shared by Nguyen and Rohrbach.
