ASHEBORO, N.C. — Klaussner Home Furnishings has promoted Chris Rayle as director of merchandising for the company's case goods division and has named Jamie Skoglund product manager for occasional tables, rugs and lamps.
Rayle replaces Darren York, who left Klaussner for a product development position at Lacquer Craft-USA, a new division of China-based manufacturer Lacquer Craft Mfg. that will focus on alternative channels of distribution not handled by sister companies Universal and Legacy Classic.
For the past two and a half years, Rayle has been Klaussner's product manager for occasional, casual dining and home entertainment furniture. In his new job, he will oversee case goods product development.
Skoglund has been with the company four years, most recently as product manager for rugs and lamps and previously as manager of the company's West Coast case goods warehouse and distribution operation.
Rayle and Skoglund report to Jay Foscue, senior vice president of merchandising.
