LOS ANGELES — Contemporary bedroom, dining and occasional furniture supplier LDC Designs has taken back control of certain designs from BermanFalk.
After two years of licensing with BermanFalk, LDC said it is taking back designs that are not currently produced or marketed.
In 2006, BermanFalk, a high-end bedroom, dining and occasional producer, acquired the rights to manufacture and distribute the line under LDC designer Joel Dessaules' name.
BermanFalk produces LDC designs The Parisian and The Kalahari collections and the Nu Dining Chair, Dessaules said.
The designs that have been released are; Chandler, Milano, Metropolitan, Komodo, Kenton, Carmella, Monaco, Oslo, Ming, Kayah, Liberty, Cairo and Claire. These designs will now be offered through LDC's Los Angeles studio.
Dessaules said his company continues to produce original designs.
"With years of new designs ready for the market, we are using our Los Angeles showroom as both a testing lab and a launch pad for a tremendous number of chic new products, designs, and finishes," said Dessaules.
