Natuzzi promotes Ventolone to Latin America VP, hires Peretti

Joan Gunin -- Furniture Today, January 26, 2009

Natuzzi has given new duties to its former communications manager and has hired a successor, who will implement a Web-based initiative.

Giacomo Ventolone, who joined Natuzzi in 1997, has been promoted from communications manager to regional vice president for Latin America. He will develop a three-year business plan for the region and will determine the future site of Natuzzi's Latin America regional offices.

Ventolone has transferred temporarily from Santeramo to Natuzzi's U.S. headquarters here.

Paola Peretti has been named vice president of communications. Her experience in publishing and communications includes stints at Rizzoli, GQ, Glamour, Vogue and Vogue Man, as well as managing internet activities and developing new projects.

In addition to managing Natuzzi's communications, public relations and press office, she will head the company's newly created Think Bold Team, a Web-based initiative.

The Think Bold Team will use such tools as a Wiki platform to create an online community.
