La-Z-Boy adds Maryland store, gets format update in Alabama

MONROE, Mich. — Top 25 furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy has opened a new store in Maryland and renovated a store in Alabama.

The La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries store in Hoover, Ala., has been renovated to reflect the company's new design-focused format.

The 16,605-square-foot store is located on Highway 150 and is owned by Bill and Curt Morris.

In Severn, Md., a new 15,006-square-foot store has opened on George Clauss Boulevard. Marion Stasiak and Beth Thomassen are the store owners.
