Tax Trimmer Toolkit offered

GALESBURG, Ill. — The National Assn. for the Exchange of Industrial Resources is offering businesses a free Tax Trimmer Toolkit, which outlines how to turn dead inventory into a federal tax deduction.
The nonprofit organization said that donating stagnant merchandise to charity can result in substantial tax savings.
The kit gives a step-by-step guide to the donation process, and offers a formula that can be used to project potential tax savings.
