HIGH POINT — Bedroom and occasional importers Rockford Furniture and American Woodcrafters have expanded their Center Point showroom by 50%, adding 4,000 square feet to bring the total to 12,000 square feet.
Rockford President John Foster said, "Rockford's master bedroom program and eclectic programs continue to grow in popularity, and so does our product line. We didn't want to shortchange our dealers by shortening our presentation, so this was a necessary move."
Rockford formed American Woodcrafters to market youth and second bedrooms from Chile, with corporate offices and warehouses here. The company has added master bedroom.
"We have an exciting youth program with emphasis on the way today's kids furnish their rooms," said Lao Labra, president of American Woodcrafters. "The additional square footage gives us the opportunity to feature the function and versatility of our product."
The larger space was designed by Mary Jane Johnson, a showroom designer. The showrooms are in spaces 104, 105 and 106 at Center Point.
