England appoints three regional sales managers

NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. — NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. — Upholstery producer England, a division of La-Z-Boy, has named three regional sales managers.
Andrew Mehlman, previously England's sales representative in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah, has been appointed Western regional sales manager. Chris Johnson and Jim Sumpter have been promoted to Central and Southern regional sales managers, respectively.
Mehlman remains responsible for major accounts in the four states he has covered, and now has management responsibility for California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Colorado and Wyoming. Before joining England, he was a Berkline rep in Wisconsin.
Johnson has responsibility for Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Florida. He has worked in merchandising for England since 1996 and previously was a merchandise manager and buyer for Top 100 retailers Nationwide and Levitz.
Sumpter has been with England since 1988 and has been responsible for special accounts, international accounts and general sales administration. Previously, he worked at a major retail discount chain. His region includes Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina.
Tim Tull remains England's Northeast sales manager.
