LAS VEGAS — Developers of the proposed World Market Center here have released the names of 10 more tenants, three furniture resources and the first home accents and lighting exhibitors.
Upholstery producer El Ran Furniture, case goods maker Vaughan Furniture and case goods importer Stein World have signed leases for space in the first phase of the market complex.
The home accent and lighting suppliers are Ashton Fine Arts, Frederick Raymond Lighting, IMAX, Meyda Tiffany, Uttermost Co., Vanguard Collections and Windsor Collections. The size of showrooms wasn't disclosed.
Separately, Boyd Furniture President Robert Clark said last week the case goods maker and importer had signed a lease for 15,000 square feet (see story on page 6).
Jack Kashani, a managing partner, has said more than 160 companies have committed to the first phase. Construction is expected to begin late this year and the first market held in early 2004.
"As we continue to announce more tenants, the market's diversity and significant capacity will become more evident," said Shawn Samson, co-managing partner.
General Manager Dave Palmer said he and leasing managers Russell and Babs Blair have a list of companies that have expressed interest in more than 300,000 square feet of space — companies the market likely won't fit in the first-phase tower.
