SSA upgrades Web site
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 31, 2002
Chicago — The Specialty Sleep Assn. has updated its Web site, www.specialtysleepnet.com, to better serve consumers and retailers seeking information about air, flotation, latex, poly and visco-elastic foam, adjustable sleep surfaces, and related merchandise.
"The revised site is more user-friendly, providing clear information and answers to many of the questions we get from consumers," said Rebecca Garau, SSA spokeswoman. "It also offers retailers information and language they can use to describe the benefits of various specialty sleep products to their customers."
The new site includes sections on sleep and health, frequently asked questions, and details about the various sleep surfaces and specialty sleep accessories. Visitors can find information and Web addresses for manufacturers and retailers who can provide additional help.
SSA members have access to information about the association, its trade shows, and other industry information.
"While the essential look of the site remains the same, we've updated the photography and streamlined some of the navigation," said Dale Read, SSA vice president, and principal of Read, Tatulli & Purdy, the agency that designs and hosts the site.
