WithIt will host events, fund-raisers at market

HIGH POINT — Women in the Home Industries Today, or WithIt, will host a number of events and fund-raising activities during the April market here.
All the following events are open to members, prospective members and guests.

Educational breakfast, Friday, April 19, 7:30 to 9 a.m. in Ballroom A of the International Home Furnishings Center, Green Wing, 11th floor, Club Level. "Marketing to Women, Post 9-11," a presentation by Dish, a women-focused division of marketing communications firm Mullen. Sponsors are Intellitek and the IHFC. Market social, Saturday, April 20, 5:30 p.m. in the Gamma Leather showroom, 125 South Hamilton St. Cocktails, networking and a silent auction for items including a bed-and-breakfast getaway in Natchez, Miss.; a weekend getaway in Steamboat Springs, Colo.; a weekend getaway in Atlanta; a Natchez coffee-table book; and gift certificates to Domain and Storehouse. Competitive intelligence/trends wrapup, Sunday, April 21, 6:30 p.m. in the Weco North America showroom at 220 Elm, space 302. WithIt's market trends wrapup. Light refreshments will be served.
A drawing will be held at the Sunday event for raffle winners. WithIt's board of directors will sell raffle tickets at market for $5 each, five for $20 or 12 for $40. Prizes include a $500 gift certificate from Domain, a home office group from Adesso, a decorative chest from Magnussen Presidential, a subscription to TrendCurve, a mirror by La Marche from Alchemy at Home, items from Mario Inds. and Passport Furniture, and signature lanterns from Interlude Home and Garden.
