Leon Hilburn, National Freight Sales
MACON, Ga. — Retailer Leon Russell Hilburn, former owner of National Freight Sales in Macon and Warner Robins, Ga., has died. He was 69.
Hilburn, who was a longtime member of the Georgia Home Furnishings Assn., retired several years ago and National Freight Sales ceased operations.
Survivors include his wife and three children.

John 'Jack' McLaughlin, veteran sales rep
NORRISTOWN, Pa. — Retired furniture sales representative John "Jack" McLaughlin has died at age 78.
McLaughlin represented Cresent Mfg. in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware for 31 years. In 1993, he received the Senior Service Award from the Tri-State Home Furnishings Assn.
"Jack was a great man and well loved in his community," said Charles Tomkins III, president of Cresent. "I am proud to have had him as a representative for so many years."
McLaughlin also founded McLaughlin Sales Associates, which is still operated by two of his sons, Pat McLaughlin and J.J. McLaughlin, representing Cresent Mfg. and Best Chairs.
Other survivors include his wife, daughter, two other sons and eight grandchildren.
