Clark leads Distinctive's U.S. sales

TORONTO — Industry veteran Harold Clark has joined Canadian upholstery producer Distinctive Designs as vice president of sales and merchandising for the United States.
He was vice president of sales for upholstery maker HickoryMark, and previously held senior management positions with Broyhill, Lane, Gimson Slater and Sherrill.
"We are very pleased and excited to have someone with Harold's experience and knowledge of the U.S. upholstery market," said Distinctive Designs President Alan Kornblum. "He has been working since January to remerchandise our leather upholstery line and to develop an exciting fabric upholstery program for the United States."
The results of his efforts will be on display in Distinctive Designs' new and larger showroom on the fourth floor of Furniture Plaza during the April market.
Clark is based in Hudson, N.C.
