GREENSBORO, N.C. —Matt Scalf has been named vice president of import operations for case goods resource American Drew, a new position at the La-Z-Boy company.
He has been a member of American Drew's import team for over two years, and will be strengthening the company's import profile overseas and further develop relationships with overseas manufacturing partners. -

La-Z-Boy Galleries/Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS —Friedel Eros has been promoted to galleries senior manager at the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Indianapolis North store. He was galleries manager at the store.
Tom Ligman has been promoted to galleries manager at the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Indianapolis West store. He was galleries assistant manager at the North store.
Mark Pfotenhauer has been promoted to galleries assistant manager at the North location. He was an interior designer at the store.
Weir's Furniture VillageDallas —Bill Fullerton has been promoted to merchandise manager for retailer Weir's Furniture Village here.
He has been with Weir's for 12 years, as a salesperson for seven years then as case goods buyer for the past five years.
Cantoni
HOUSTON — Contemporary retailer Cantoni has named Michael Farmer manager of its store here.
Farmer has been a design consultant with Cantoni since 1993. Prior to joining the store, he was in information technology.
Cantoni, launched in Dallas in 1984, has a third store in Irvine, Calif.
George Little Management
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — George Little Management has promoted Gracelyn Monaco to assistant show manager for the New York Home Textiles Show.
She previously was show coordinator for the event. In her new post, she will assist with administration of the market, including planning and strategic development, marketing, sales and promotion.
Monaco will continue to report to Penny Sikalis, vice president and group show manager.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. —Emily Hendley has been named graphic artist/sales and merchandising assistant at Decorize.com, a global sourcing home décor resource for retailers.
She has worked in merchandising and graphic design with Pier 1 Imports, Urban Outfitters and Adworks. -
NEW VENTURE
Delos
ATLANTA —Ivan Phillips and Celeste Casale Phillips have formed Delos Inc. to market and distribute Netherlands-based Van den Brink & Campman rugs in North America.
Ivan Phillips was executive vice president of sales and marketing for 828 International Trading Co., and before that was North American selling agent for Balta, a Belgian rug maker.
Celeste Phillips was rug buyer for Heilig-Meyers.
Delos will show at AmericasMart Atlanta in the space formerly occupied by Rug Link, the previous distributor of Van den Brink & Campman. Rug Link owner Scott Hayim has been named general manager of the Baker Bros. floor covering retail chain based in Phoenix.
Delos will stock rugs to provide immediate delivery. Independent rug and floor covering stores and furniture specialists will be the target channels.
Van den Brink & Campman offers machine-made, hand-loomed, hand-tufted and hand-knotted wool contemporary and transitional rugs in the $399 to $1,300 retail range. -

California Furniture Exports
STUDIO CITY, Calif. — California Furniture Exports, or CFX, an agency here specializing in trade with 11 Asian countries, has named Art Lee marketing manager for Japan and Korea, and David Ishikawa resident Japan sales manager.
Lee was with Hilton Hotels International, and Ishikawa with Japan's Lane organization.
Stanley Ma continues as marketing manager for China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and Paul Gelig as resident Philippine sales manager.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Outer Limits Upholstery here has named Josef Wieser as its Pacific/Northwest sales representative.
