Eller joins Cochrane as VP
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 10, 2002
LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Bob Eller has joined upholstery, bedroom and dining room producer Cochrane as vice president of sales and merchandising for upholstery.
Eller was with upholstery manufacturer Alexvale for 10 years, most recently as vice president of sales and merchandising. Before joining Alexvale, he was president of Hickory Park Furniture Galleries, a Hickory, N.C., retailer.
At Cochrane, Eller is primarily responsible for upholstery sales, as well as some case goods. He reports to Steve Healy, president of Cochrane, a division of Chromcraft Revington.
"With Bob, we get someone with proven abilities and a fresh outlook," Healy said. "We think we offer great quality, service and value, but now we want to raise our profile."
Carl Holubeck, who was vice president of upholstery sales at Cochrane, has left the company.
A search is on for a replacement at Alexvale, said Steve Kincaid, president of Kincaid Furniture, Alexvale's parent company.
