Serta elects 2002 board

ITASCA, Ill. — Bedding producer Serta has elected board members for 2002.
Ed Lilly, president and chief executive officer of Serta Inc., was re-elected to a three-year term and will serve as chairman.
Current board member Burt Kaplan will serve as vice chairman. He is co-chairman of National Bedding Co., Serta's largest licensee.
Others elected to the board are Curt Crowther, president, Serta Salt Lake City; Larry Kraft, president and CEO, Serta Detroit; and Guy Boyle, CEO and chairman of Sleepmaster, another large licensee.
Re-elected to a one-year term as an outside board member was John R. Malmo, a veteran advertising executive and consultant who has been on the board since 1993.
Continuing members are Alva Moog Jr., president of Serta St. Louis, and Stuart Bannett, president of Serta Landover.
