SUFFERN, N.Y. — SUFFERN, N.Y. — TurboProps, a maker of simulated electronics props for furniture showrooms, has expanded its line to reflect the newest televisions.
The company, which uses shaped metal and acrylic screens to mimic the contemporary look of consumer electronics, now has 32- and 36-inch flat-screen television props in platinum and silver metal finishes.
Also, the company has developed a model to simulate a projection television, which ships KD. "We came up with a way to do it to create the look while still keeping the cost and the weight down," said Eric Shupack, president.
He said the response to the introduction last year of TurboProps has been heartening.
"We're just trying to add a little pizzazz and color to furniture displays," he said. "For those retailers or manufacturers who want to feature a new entertainment ensemble in a showroom, this can really help. The whole idea is to show something that looks like what will eventually wind up on your product."
The company can be reached at (877) 798-8726.
