Raymour in Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y. — Raymour & Flanigan has opened a 60,000-square-foot store here on Vassar Road.

The two-story unit features a 5,000-square-foot Berkline Gallery, a Sealy and Stearns & Foster Sleep Center, an enhanced Rowe Design Center and a Kidstown Gallery. Lines include Broyhill, La-Z-Boy and Natuzzi.

The store is managed by Hugh Fitzgerald.

The Top 100 Northeast chain, based in Liverpool, N.Y., is family owned and has been in business since 1947. Raymour & Flanigan operates 43 stores, 15 customer service centers and two distribution centers in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Poised to cut the ribbon is Raymour & Flanigan's Albany Region Vice President of Sales Bill Fluty, with store manager Hugh Fitzgerald to his left, surrounded by officials and colleagues.
