Kathryn B. Wright, longtime N.Y. retailer

MOHAWK, N.Y. — Kathryn B. Wright, longtime owner and manager of retailer Wright's Furniture here, has died. She was 94.
She was involved in management of the store for 52 years and worked there every day until her recent illness. Wright's was founded in 1907 by her father-in-law, Ernie Wright, and after his death was operated by Kathryn Wright's husband, Lynn.
Lynn Wright died in 1970, leaving Kathryn as owner and manager. Her son, Larry Wright, took over daily management when he returned from service in Vietnam. His son, David, recently joined him in managing the store.
Mrs. Wright is survived by three sons, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
