Woodburn tapped as VP at Aktrin

OAKVILLE, Ontario — David Woodburn has joined Aktrin Furniture Information Center as vice president of special projects.
He also will be an associate of the newly formed Aktrin-Dossenbach Consulting Partnership and will continue to operate his own consulting firm, David Woodburn Associates.
He has over 30 years experience in the home furnishings field, and was vice president of marketing for America's Research Group International, a consumer research company specializing in home furnishings. He also served as director of export operations for the home furnishings division of Interspan Canada.
Woodburn and Aktrin have collaborated on numerous projects, including an evaluation of the UFAC program in Canada. He also was co-leader on several trade-promotion projects for the furniture industries in Italy, Portugal, Austria and Spain.
