Kincaid promotes Grout, Jolley
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 28, 2002
HUDSON, N.C. — HUDSON, N.C. — In a move that nearly completes a four-month corporate restructuring, Kincaid has created two new management slots, promoting Roberta Grout to director of display planning and Christy Jolley to director of upholstery.
Grout oversees all display planning projects, including the 45,000-square-foot High Point showroom, all in-store gallery development and the company's dedicated store program.
Kincaid's interior design team reports to Grout.
She joined Kincaid in 1987 as design coordinator, and most recently was director of store designs. She reports to Angela Arrington, Kincaid's vice president of retail operations.
Jolley will serve as the merchandising and product development liaison between Kincaid and its dealers.
She fills the void created when Max Dyer was promoted to vice president-Eastern region sales. Jolley reports to Robert Lemons, senior vice president of sales.
Jolley has been a gallery and showroom interior designer with Kincaid for the past four years. She has been transitioning into her new role since January and played a significant role in Kincaid's April market upholstery introductions.
