Glick joins La Vita

LINDEN, N.J. — Veteran Powell executive Robert Glick has joined importer La Vita as executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Glick was at Powell nearly 20 years, most recently as senior vice president of sales and product development and director of national accounts. Powell did not announce any staff changes with his departure.

La Vita is a 27-year-old importer of dining room and accent furniture owned by the Reich family — father Leo and sons Michael, Abe and Jack work at the company.

Glick said La Vita distributes nationally and works with major retailers, but wouldn't disclose sales.

"We're looking to grow the business and get more aggressive," he said, with more accent furniture for every room, plus home office and outdoor.
