By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 28, 2002
HIGH POINT — Angela Arrington has joined Kincaid as vice president of retail operations, a new position at the solid-wood case goods and upholstery manufacturer, a division of La-Z-Boy.
Arrington, who reports to president and chief executive officer Steve Kincaid, will oversee Kincaid's dedicated store and gallery programs and its advertising, marketing and display planning departments.
Most recently, she was director of retail services at manufacturer Klaussner Furniture Inds. Previously, she was vice president of store acquisition and development at Bassett.
"Our in-store gallery and dedicated store programs have fueled our growth and are one of the advantages we have over many of our competitors," the company said. "Though we have successfully grown both programs, we need to dedicate more resources toward each effort."
The company now has 176 galleries and 12 dedicated stores.
