La-Z-Boy Canada
MONROE, Mich. —Bob Ireland has joined La-Z-Boy as national accounts manager for Canada.
He most recently was with Powell Co. as executive vice president, and previously worked at Palliser as its eastern U.S. sales manager.
In his newly created position, Ireland is responsible for key Canadian retail accounts. He reports to Mark Wiltshire, vice president of sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy Canada.
Ireland, a native Canadian, will relocate from Atlanta to Waterloo, Ontario. -

Lazar Inds.
LOS ANGELES —Don Graves has been named director of sales and marketing for upholstery producer Lazar Inds., a new position. He reports to Barry Lazar, chief executive officer.
His responsibilities will include customer relationships and services.
Most recently, Graves was vice president of sales and marketing for Artisan House, a manufacturer of decorative metal sculpture, and sold to the home furnishings industry.
Lazar said, "Over the coming months, Don will be traveling and visiting our dealers. He will help us define strategies that will add to their bottom line."
Leda Furniture
TORONTO — Canadian case goods manufacturer Leda Furniture has promoted Bill Frank to U.S. vice president of sales and marketing.
Frank, a 33-year industry veteran, has been with Leda for a year and a half and was U.S. sales manager.
Leda also gave out two new awards at the just-concluded High Point market to sales representatives who have exhibited excellence in sales performance and dedication to Leda.
Mike Luke received the company's first Steve Karp Sales Professional Award.
Lon Vaughan and Richard Vreeland were named Sales Professionals of the Year.
