Klaussnerhome donates to family
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 2, 2009
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A needy family here received furniture donated by Klaussnerhome Furnishings as part of a charity event last month.
In an effort called A Home for the Holidays, the store, owned by Jeff Davis, donated four dressers and a coffee table valued in excess of $3,200 to the Dogbe family, which was once homeless but recently moved into a new residence.
To facilitate the donation, Klaussnerhome teamed up with Help1Up, which is affiliated with the non-profit National Furniture Bank Assn., and which selected the family based on need.
Rochelle Dogbe expressed the family's gratitude for “Klaussnerhome's help in providing our children with these necessities.”
