MILWAUKEE — MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Delivery Service, a specialized furniture carrier, is not affiliated with Mainstreet Delivery Service, a Green Bay, Wis.-based trucking company that recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
T.J. Alfuth, president of Milwaukee Delivery, said that, since news reports of Mainstreet Delivery's bankruptcy surfaced, he has received numerous phone calls asking if his company is still in business.
Ironically, Milwaukee Delivery is one of hundreds of unsecured creditors listed in Mainstreet Delivery's bankruptcy filing.
Milwaukee Delivery is part of World Wide Logistics, a corporation formed last year with the merger of six specialized furniture carriers.
