Green Leaders: Certified Sustainability Training Program
The Sustainable Furnishings Council is launching its Train the Trainers program, a six-course examination series resulting in accreditation as an SFC Certified Trainer with expertise in green home furnishings. Course segments include environmental issues, consumer understanding, materials, operations, marketing & sales and interior design. Intended for manufacturers, retailers and designers, this series provides an up-to-the-minute understanding of the essentials of sustainability as it relates to the home furnishings industry and the tools for communicating it effectively to others. Content is approved by staff of the Rainforest Alliance and World Wildlife Fund and CEU credits are available. This is a fee-based course, offered by the SFC.
