Hurtado USA hires Falken

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 3, 2002

HIGH POINT — Daniel Falken has joined high-end case goods and exposed-frame seating resource Hurtado USA as national sales manager. He replaces James Dumbrowski, who left the company.

Falken assumes all sales and market distribution responsibilities for the company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spanish manufacturer Hurtado Muebles.

He comes to Hurtado from Councill Cos., where he worked for eight years, most recently as vice president of residential and international sales.

"Hurtado is an established name worldwide, yet still new to the U.S. market," Falken said. "The challenge of bringing Hurtado into wide distribution in the United States is one which excites me tremendously."

Ana Hurtado, executive vice president of Hurtado USA, said, "As our head of sales and part of our management team, we look to Dan to provide direction in achieving our strong sales growth plan for the American market."
