Macy's names DMMs in home furnishings

Bob Weiser remains in Big Ticket area

NEW YORK — Macy's has reorganized its home furnishings merchandising executive lineup at the divisional merchandise manger level as part of the restructuring the company announced this week.

Bob Weiser is divisional merchandise manager of Big Ticket, which includes furniture, mattresses and rugs. He had been named senior vice president, general merchandise manager for the same area since August.

Audrey Schlaepfer, who had been vice president, divisional merchandise manager for tabletop and luggage, is now divisional merchandise manager for home textiles and trim.

Lisa Magann is divisional merchandise manager for housewares and confections. She had been promoted to senior vice president, mattresses and area rugs, in August.

Dana Brown is divisional merchandise manager, tabletop and decorative housewares. She had been vice president, divisional merchandise manager, decorative housewares.

The department store retailer has not yet announced buyers in the home categories. Earlier this week, it announced other senior executive changes.
