Bemco offering dealers year of ads
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 3, 2002
Chicago — Bemco Associates has a year's worth of ideas for bedding newspaper ads and has put them all on a CD for its dealers.
The CD-ROM-based ad kits come with a presentation folder and offer 12 ads in color or black and white. The ads can also be used as pre-printed newspaper inserts and are designed for customization with dealers' names and pricing information.
"As an extension of our "Custom Designed" marketing program, the kit provides dealers with a full 12 months' worth of pre-planned, personalized advertising," said Daryl Tarbutton, president of Bemco. "It is a comprehensive campaign created around a mix of holiday and mattress events for year-round mattress advertising visibility and dealer support."
The events include grand openings, floor sample, mix and match, price roll back, 10-hour and moonlight madness sales. Holiday ads include those for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Veteran's Day. Back-to-school and graduation ads are also included.
The ad files are in Adobe Illustrator format for easy customization and use by each dealer's local newspaper. The kit also includes logos for Bemco's key national programs, including the Good Housekeeping Seal and USA Gymnastics.
"The newspaper ad kit is an extremely efficient, consistent way for Bemco dealers to advertise mattresses over the next 12 months," Tarbutton said. "It puts a complete, pre-planned mattress advertising campaign at our dealers' fingertips for the entire year."
